Yeilin Rey Lores (Yey)

Born 1995 in Baracoa. Yeilin Rey Lores graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Holguin, Cuba, preceded by three years of study at the Academia de Guantánamo.

She studied violin before moving into art. She was motivated to work in the visual arts by her father and older brother. Now she specializes in graphic arts, and engravings, and has had her works shown in salons in Baracoa, including in the city’s “First of April” show and “Mujeres Creadoras.”
