Israel Tamayo

(Santiago de Cuba, 1959):

Tamayo graduated with honors from the School of Art in Santiago de Cuba. He is prolific in a variety of mediums, in particular ceramics, painting, and engravings. His unique style has opened doors to individual and collective exhibits in most of the provincial capitals of Cuba as well as important venues in Italy, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, Spain and the Canary Islands, Poland, Suriname, Mexico, Sicily, Jamaica, and California.
